She met us for an initial chat to find out more about us, and subsequently wrote a beautiful and personal service. She was very responsive to emails if we had questions and had so many wonderful tips and ideas on how to create our ceremony, and was so supportive and friendly throughout. She also met us for a rehearsal so we were happy with how the ceremony would run. On the day, a number of people said to me what a wonderful service it was and what a great speaker she had been. ‘‘So, so happy we asked Nicola to perform our ceremony’’

Nicola was so great! We originally planned for a friend to perform our ceremony, as we wanted something personal to us and are not a fan of most registrar weddings. But we decided this would put a lot of pressure on one person and us for planning the day. Instead, we decided to look for a celebrant and I am so happy we decided to ask Nicola to perform our wedding. She made us very relaxed in the moment and in the lead-up to the day. She drafted the ceremony for us after we had a meeting and then sent it over to us for any amends, but to be very honest we made very little tweaks ourselves.

On the day she was great at meeting all of the important people to the wedding like the coordinator, photographer ect. Making everybody feel very relaxed in the run-up.

Everybody who wants a personalised ceremony should go for a celebrant wedding! It also enabled us to get in some Christian readings which is a big no-no for registrar weddings.

‘‘Long Distance Preparations’’

My now husband & I reside in NZ but we wanted to return to England to have our ceremony with family.

There was a 13 hr time difference, we could attend zoom appointments only and a rehearsal wasn't possible. But that did not stop the wonderful Nicola from pulling the most heart warming cereomy out the bag !!
Many of our guests commented on how well Nicola and designed our cereomy and there was hardly a dry eye in the house.

We really felt that nicola listened to us, heard what we wanted to achieve, did everything that we asked of her and accommodated our situation seamlessly.

We found Nicola on the Celebrant Directory, had a preliminary phone call and zoom meeting, and liked her very much and her flexibility with what we wanted to include in our ceremony. We had an in person meeting with Nicola at our home where we discussed how we met, our story, and so much more. From this Nicola created a wonderful ceremony including a personal reading about us that was funny, touching and romantic. We also had a rehearsal at the venue 1 week before the wedding which was incredibly helpful. Nicola facilitated our wish for hand binding with ribbons, and also singing a lovely song at the end of the ceremony. We found Nicola highly professional, approachable, friendly, helpful, accommodating, reliable, authoritative, easy-going and fun. We also liked that her price was reasonable and affordable.
