Naming Ceremonies

‘‘Never work with children or animals’’

However, as a teacher of many years I don’t get that. ( I am also a dog owner, so happy for dogs to appear at my ceremonies!)

Holding a naming ceremony to welcome a new baby into the family is a celebration of shared love. Bringing your family and friends together on this special day provides a memorable experience for everyone. I will work with you to ensure your child’s Naming Ceremony will be a joyful memory you can treasure.

I love being with babies and children, so it is always my pleasure to lead Naming Ceremonies. I don’t only love getting to know the families of the child who is to be named, but also the many children who usually come along to share in the ceremony and the celebration.

I really enjoy working out how the children can be included and involved in the Naming Ceremony. It is my intention to ensure that parents and children alike have a great day. I can remember how hard it was as a child to be expected to sit still and be quiet, so I always get the children to help me during the ceremony and provide activities for them to enjoy, which in turn enables the adults to be relaxed.

If you would to find out more about how a Naming Ceremony may be a way of welcoming your child into their family and celebrating their name, please get in touch for a no obligation chat.
